For longer events having a pre built on air edit decision list with all the cuts, transitions and any markers already noted is a welcome starting place for the editor and will save a lot of time logging and viewing un needed footage.

Recording of games, competitions and live sporting events – such as knockout shows – can all benefit from EDL-REC recording the live shot list. This creates a great starting place for the editor to quickly move through the event to produce a highlight show.  Having all the ISO Camera footage accurately linked by this edl will offer the editor instant alternative “better angle” shots when these are needed.
